Strategic Changes for Saving Money

The Today Show did an article titled, Rent dresses! 8 smart ways to save. Some of the ideas suggested may be a little extreme, but it worked well for me. As we all know, weddings can be expensive. I have a lot of friends who decided to marry around the same time. Of course, that means I will be a participate in each wedding. That means, I would have to purchase different dresses for each. Well, after reading the article on the Today Show, I immediately tried ones of the ideas suggested. I went to my friends and asked them to allow the bridesmaid's to save money by renting our dresses, besides men do it all the time. It's time for a V-A-C-T-I-O-N!

Going on famliy trips can be super expensive. So why not do things differently this year. If you are not able or interested in vaction getaways, there are great family time for free at parks, local musems, driving around the city, learning historical landmarks with a self guide, camping in the backyard, BBQ dinners and gatherings, participating in local church activities and fund raisers, fishing, board games, family video game night will give your hours of fun if the whole family plays, ghost stories, and easter hunts in and outside the house. It is always great to enjoy and appreiciate the land and comminuty that you live in. And don't forget while enjoying these family moments take plenty of pictures to show how great and innovative your summer was.

P.S. Parents, this would be a great opprotunity to teach your children a great skill(s).

Reminder: Have true family time by getting rid of ALL cell phones, vidoe games, television, ipods, m3p, palm piolets, so that the family can get to know each other. Happy Summer Vacating!!!!!!!!!! :)

Water Filteration System

Are you tired of your water filter. If your answer is yes Pur, water filtration is the new best thing. It is a pitcher with a self purifier in the top lid. So every time you refill, it goes through the filter before you drink it. How great is that!

The prices varies depending upon the size of the pitcher. The more money you pay the longer they lasts. The coolest part, is that some of them come with back up filters which can last up till 2 months or more. And it comes with a refillable Pur water bottle for FREE. So instead of spending money on water filters for the sink and bottle water check out the Purwater filtration system. It might save you some money.

Before the pitchers with water filters was created, I use to purchase bottle water all the time for a great taste. Now I no longer need bottled water, nor pricey water filter for he kitchen sink. I am always satisfied because I know that my water is going to be clean.

To start, try changing out all of your regular light bulbs to the energy saving bulbs. They are a little more pricier, however, they will reduce your electric bill, price of up keep, and global warming pollution.

Before I started using the energy saving light bulbs, my electric bill was very expensive. Once I started using energy saving light bulbs, my electric bill decreased drastcially. By switching over, you will invest in light bulbs that last longer, reduce bills, and eco-friendly.
